Help, can we masturbate after tooth extraction?

Hi everyone! I just had 3 tooth extracted last friday and despite following all guidelines left by the students at the dentistry school I go, I contracted a nasty infection. I can handle the pain, am on painkillers (still feel A LOT of pain but I'm a warrior, this trial is a war and I will win in the end) and that's not what's troubling me. The pretty dentist students advises me not to do intense stuff for a while so my blood pressure doesn't disloge the blood clots in my mouth and I end up with dry sockets. 3 days in, I'm still fine! I'm in a lot of pain but went to the dentistry school this afternoon and was told about the infection so no dry socket. But what's troubling me is that I have desires, I have needs and I haven't masturbated in 4 days. I heard to wait a couple days but with the infection, it's gonna take a week longer so I was wondering : can I masturbate or it will threathen my blood clots? Because If I speak by experience, when I go over a week without masturbating, I become agitated, can't sleep and it wouldn't be ideal for my dental rehabilitation.

Blood pressure does rise with sexual activities, masturbation included. It's how erections happen and eventually the climax. However, going that long without doing so would be murder on me too.

Oh my god, I know you said (no pun intended) but I LOVE that song by The Stones!! It's indeed not easy but so far, not so hard either. I keep myself by watching Stargate SG-1, I play video games, piano and bass softly but no solo yet, it would be too physical.

Yes, as a specie, we are meant to reproduce to ensure our survival so no matter how much I tell myself that this is what's best for my rehabilitation, my primal instinct tell me otherwise.

Go for it. If something bad happens, it's likely not super serious. Relaxation and stress release may overall lower your BP, anyways. :-)

I would call the dental school tomorrow and say, you need to speak to a MALE dentist-teacher about specific activities so you dont get a dry socket cuz you already have an infection in your three extractions.

Read it exactly as above to everybody who answers the phone until someone says, "okay, what specific activities?" Hopefully youll get a helpful answer. Like put a wet towel in your mouth so you dont bite down on the wounds?.
