I don't have a sexual orientation. I like guys, and I like girls. I don't like sex. BJs are the only thing I like to do which is what makes me prefer guys over girls, but girls I like more romantically than guys. I don't enjoy intercourse and I don't like anybody going down on me and I don't think I would enjoy going down a girl.

Do we really need labels. Why can't we just BE?

I get that, but it bothers me that I hate sex and yet wish I could like it.

Sex is more than penetration. If you don't like that: good for you to know! Then you can do all the fun stuff you enjoy!

Hmm. I would sooner just "be" than worry about orientation. You are you, and that's all that really matters, right?

Is there any reason you don't like intercourse? Is it too intimate, are you shy, is it painful?

All of the above. I feel too vulnerable and it's extremely uncomfortable.

Sex is not just a recreational thing because whether we like it or not, unless we are completely unfeeling people, the hormones that are created during sex, bond us to the other person we are having it with. That's WHY SEX has it's true meaning within the marriage bonds & not as JUST a recreational activity.

Too intimate & shy, when the right person comes along that you truly LOVE & it's an expression of love for & with that person then that aspect goes away. it takes on it's REAL meaning & becomes a likeable thing.

Though there can be physical reasons why it does not feel comfortable, stressing adds to that discomfort also. But it's like that for most in the beginning so unless there is something physically wrong with you in that area, what you experience is normal. Good reason not to bother until you are with the right person in the right circumstance.

There is a medical condition that causes intercourse to be extremely painful for women. It's called dyspareunia. Talking to your doctor can help as they can prescribe the proper treatment.

Does it have to do with body image? When I weighed more, I was a bit uncomfortable with sex also. When i felt more comfortable with my body, it improved my self-esteem.

Do you think maybe as you lose weight it might improve your self- image?

It's a factor, but I agree with Eskie that the times where it felt most comfortable was when I was with someone I had strong feelings for

Maybe then a solution might be to have sex only with those for whom you have strong feelings.

I would completely relate to that. I used to be with a guy for 7 years and I never enjoyed intercourse. I got very creative, in order to avoid penetration that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and almost nauseous. I am now in a relationship with a woman now though since I got tired of trying to explain myself why I would not have intercourse. I think you don't need a label, but I would guess you'll have to be honest if you go into a relationship as it is a lot of stress if you feel your partner is expecting different things from you.
