I saw my GP this morning and she tested me for vaginosis and a yeast infection but said that otherwise if it's still continuing in 2 weeks then come back. I just got a call back from the nurse saying the tests came back clean. It's so frustrating. I like sex! It's like when my husband and I have sex I'm too tight. It's hard for him to get it in and when we do it ends up feeling like he's tearing me on the inside. Afterwards it burns like crazy. We've tried lube, and I'm definitely turned on by the time he sticks it in. I'm wondering if this is another symptom of my PTSD which has been at its worst lately. If maybe my body is reacting subconsciously to anything sexual. If that's the case then I'm going to be super pissed at my body because I LOVE sex and find it to be a great stress reliever. What's even more frustrating is that if I ignore my sexual desires then that causes pain too. Masturbation helps a bit but it's not the same, even when I have my husband help.

there is a condition called vaginismus...I think it is basically an involuntary muscle contraction of the vagina related to anxiety issues, my understanding of it anyway. a couples therapist who specializes in sexual issues might be the person to see now that you are aware that there are no infections involved. hope this helped some

I've heard of that and I'm praying that's not my problem. I have an issue with patience and I want to get back to good sex now!
Thanks for this!

Does your husband do any digital stimulation before sex that could help relax & "stretch" this area?

There's also different size Ben-wa balls that might helps in relaxing & stretching these muscles.
Best of luck to you!
