So i got Anxiety and OCD Ect. Long story short i seen an image of a younger girl and i was interested for a few moments then disgusted afterwards. I date girls my own age ( 24 ) and have dated women older 40+ if i do anything sexual or fantasize its usually about women 30+ or my age. But because i was intrigued for that short moment i find myself wondering.. Am i a pedophile? If i see a girl walking down the street and shes dressed Hot i would look. I mean like tights. Makeup ect.. Im really confused. I don't think i am, but because of that moment of interest i find myself conflicted. I decided to post here because its the most popular forum... Any advice?

I would think if it wasn't your normal preference, that it could be less worrisome.

What do you mean? If it WASN'T my Normal preference. Did you mean if it WAS my Normal Preference THEN it's worrisome? I seen the image and had a bad thought for a moment, but seconds after i was remorseful and closed it. I normally Enjoy women who are 30+ so i feel confused about that thought i had. really making me depressed. I think it might have to do with the way media is over Sexualizing younger people maybe? in my mind i think.. if they aren't mature enough to understand then it IS wrong.

I mean if it happened once forget it. If it happens frequently, Then I would talk to therapist.

The separation of people into adults and children is a very modern phenomenon anyway. I would not even belabor this point or call your thought bad. Be happy that you can enjoy women in their thirties, and do not censor yourself for an occasional thought about a younger girl.

Personally I don't think you have anything to be concerned about here. We all have these sorts of thoughts from time-to-time I believe. At least I certainly have. They're just thoughts. You mentioned you have anxiety & OCD though. The experience you describe is clearly troublesome to you. So perhaps this is something you might want to talk through with a therapist if that is a possibility for you. While the thought you describe itself is of no real consequence, the confusion & anxiety you're experiencing may be. So if you find yourself continuing to ruminate over this experience, you may want to consider seeking some help with resolving how you feel.

The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become.
