I have an issue when excessive female nudity in movies that are placed only to pleasure men. An occasional breast doesn’t bother me if it adds to the story.

My problem is that movies show the “privates” of a women. No story needs that. I recently watched a movie with my husband and it showed a very attractive, fully nude women, smiling seductively clearly trying to arouse men. It zoomed to her “bottoms” showed trimmed hair and almost lips.

The scene was pointless and unexpected and clearly was intended to entertain men. It is immoral to film this trash and showed it to kids and men.

If men want to watch naked women, there are videos for that. I dont appreciate it that little kids and men get to see it. Seems that shots of the privates areas of women do deserve a place (at least to the amount that is currently shown) in family entertainment

Thoughts? Experiences with this with bf or husband?

What "family entertainment" had this scene in it? I think any movie with a shot like that would be a hard R rating. They won't even show male genitals most of the time, let alone female genitals. Our backwards society often confuses breasts for genitals, but they're two separate things.

I'm also curious about what family entertainment had full on nudity in it. I don't think nudity is immoral, but it shouldn't be in a PG rated movie.

You must have picked up "Beauty & the Breast," rather than "Beauty & the Beast." Stay out of that section of the video store next time!

Tons of 70s movies showed full bush. They don't do that anymore now!

Also, you live in San Francisco...wouldn't you see nudity just a little more often? Do you not take your kids to Pride?

I am not certain how you define "these days." In 1992 Basic Instinct showed Sharon Stone's private parts. She was okay with showing boobs but apparently did not realize what a scene in a chair would show until the premiere of the movie.

Bush is making a comeback. Those tired days of women shaving every pubic hair; ugh.

Omg there's soooo many derogatory issues in this post there should be a trigger warning on it!

Obviously nudity is ONLY for men! Geeez.

Triggering? Just look what forum you are in. It's expected.

I guess it is, I just see this as pretty narrow minded ....& we've had other posts like this. A few in fact.
