I need some advice in getting over this. I have issues with a past abuse that have been recently triggered. My husband does not understand why I don't want him touching me let alone having sex. Since my flash backs have started again I feel the same feelings like right after the abuse happened. I just want to shower and shower. And I absolutly don't want any man touching me in anyway. I had sex with my husband to make him happy but I left my body during and have not felt connected to anything since. how do I get back to my old before horrible memmories self.

there might be some interesting answers to your questions in the link i provided in the other thread...

i've heard of a technique that is sometimes used in sex therapy...

the notion is that the first thing to work on is enjoying non-sexual touch. so... nice touching that is non-sexual (where there is no pressure or promise of sex). massage. maybe start small... get him to massage your hand or something that feels kind of safe. being able to relax while he touches you in a non-sexual way and being able to enjoy the sensations. then (gradually) moving to being able to relax and enjoy touch of other parts of your body.

it is meant to be a gradual process...

(((twirls)))

Hang in there!

Having sex makes me feel sick too, I cannot be touched or even hugged most of the time and I don't know how to stop these feelings.

Good luck with everything twirls!!

I feel the same, and I haven't been with a man for 4 years.
Personally, I don't want to.
