Hi, I'm 30 years old, suffering from a dysfunction I developed when I was young,

Hoping someone with knowledge on that subject could spare a moment and help me with some questions and advice.

Thanks

I discovered masturbation wrong when I was a kid. I found prone masturbation at age of 14, I knew it was different then what everyone else did, so I kept it secret.
But now at 30, I'm just realizing what happened to me happens to other people. and if your stop early you can be normal. But then again I've read for some people, It's no big deal but for me, it's messed my life up.

I've got some side effects. I don't do PM anymore, quit along time ago. There's just noticeable damage to my penis that scares me, makes me live alone.
I just don't masturbate as much anymore, and if I do I try to do it like normal people. But I don't think that's going to cut it.
So....aside from going to doctor, I don't know what else to do.
I think women will always run away from me.

I'm also afraid of what will happen if people find out about me,

They already call me crazy and weird cause I'm always alone, if they find out exactly why I am the way I am, I'm ****ed.
Just wish I could talk to someone in real life about it, so I didn't have to keep it bottled up all the time.
maybe I wouldn't be so crazy. It's hard being alone all the time, no friends, no lovers.

Thanks for replying Christina, even if you can't help me, it helps that someone cares.
Hugs from:

Maybe you could find an online forum or medical article about your concerns.

Most forums threads I found where are old and locked out for comments.
And most medical research I got outta it is stop it early. Refraining for masturbation for a few weeks/months will make you more sensitive & easier masturbate, and is overall better for health in males. But won't repair lose skin or ED.

Think the only actual fix for me is surgery/Therapy. I'm just scared taking that first step into my family doctors office. But even after all's said and done, I can't see me ever being normal.

I know it's embarrassing, but your best bet would be to talk to your doc about it. I'm sure doc has seen stranger things.
