Ok I am not sure how to ask this. My husband passed out right when he climaxed. He ended up in the ER because his pulse was very low and his blood pressure was not right . Has anyone else had this experience and can give some helpful advice.

oh my gosh you must have been terrified! I hope he is ok. Is syncope a medication? What did the doctor say?

That's got to be so scary! Syncope is "fainting"/losing consciousness. It appears to be a heart/blood pressure thing most often, can happen with several kinds of "exertion" including sex and/or different positions (kneeling). The things one learns here at PC :-)

I hope he's okay now and they have a clue? __________________ "Never give a sword to a man who can't dance." ~Confucius |

He has been diagnosed in past with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. The ER docs. seemed to think it was related to this. He is doing OK now though.

Oh good.....I'm glad he's doing ok. Have you had sex since then? (Couldn't think of a non-blunt way to ask that). Just curious if its going to keep occuring?
