i was having a discussion with friends the other day and we were all torn on the spit/swallow argument... anyway if ppl could i would like to get an idea of others views of if swallowing is way too foul and shouldnt be done (which is what a lot of my friends thought)

I can't speak for anyone else but I don't mind the question Bebop. This is the sexual issues forum, after all.

But to answer the question seriously, I would caution anyone against actually exchanging fluids unless the relationship is monogamous and both have been tested. You can still do oral with condoms so if it's not your regular partner, I'd say forget spit or swallow, use a rubber.

As for with a regular partner, it's personal preference. I certainly don't regard it as too gross.

You know, I'm not a sexually conservative person, but I think what took me aback about this post is that it was in poll form. I know that nobody has to answer it if they're uncomfortable, but this is really, really personal.

HELPFUL TIP:

My doctor informed me that "Pine Apple Juice" will help sweeten the semen of a man - so if you are going to indulge in oral pleasure just have your man start drinking the juice and see if it help in a few weeks.

I only view 21 of the forums. This keeps me from stumbling into a forum that triggers me.

If people are going to read here and are offended/embarassed easily, it needs to be addressed in PM as DocJohn stated. Changing an original poster's subject should be done by talking to the original poster first, or coming to mod/admin.

If I am reading this right - I think you are asking WHY have sex with a partner you would not want to swallow with? - Correct?

My Reply - (based on my interpretation of your reply)

I have been married to the same guy for 21 years - we have been together for 25 years and I do not swallow for I do not prefer it - I do not like the taste nor the texture....... that's all "personal preference" - nothing else.

love has nothing to do with gag reflexes lol when i was 15/16 it didnt bother me at all. i could touch my own tonsils with my finger and not gag. now its worse and brushing my teeth all the way in the back makes me gag. not sure what the science of that is but over about 5 years ive developed a gag reflex. but yes, rhap, that doesnt mean that i loved my exes but not my current boyfriend. quite the opposite. the fact that we love each other makes it easier to be open and talk about it and know that we dont have to do stuff like that anymore.

I'm Not even touching this one!! I'd end up writing a BOOK...LOL
