I don't know if that's a proper word or not. I made it up - pornosexual. I haven't touched anyone in years. I just watch a lot of porn. And I think it's better than the real thing overall. Aren't there a lot of negative outcomes with real sex?

I guess the word would be voyeur (or at least it's a form of voyeurism - ie enjoying watching sex), which probably should be considered a perfectly legit sexual orientation as long as between consenting adults (or in this case consenting performers).

For myself, I miss physical contact and affection but the sexual aspects of relationships (as well as the attachment aspects) are too difficult for me to cope with usually so it's better than nothing.

I get you. I haven't been with anyone in years, as well; and AI also watch a lot of porn. For a while I feared that I had an addiction, but then I determined that I don't feel a need to watch it. I just like it a lot, and it is so much easier to just get off without all the prep work and logistics of actually hooking up. (Though I have no issue with that either . . . just haven't in a long time.)

(And I love your username, by the way. We can always use some ace rimmers!)

I just prefer the intimacy of human contact, whether or not sex is involved.

To me porn is just a way of relieving sexual tensions. Its not sex at all.
You can’t compare porn with “real” sex. Sure it’s a hell of a lot less complicated than being with someone. But it’s just so “ empty “ of all the things that make us human. All the feelings and emotions. I want to be human. Like was said , I need the physical touch etc..... But I believe there is a place for it . As long as you don’t get addicted and that’s all you do.

I don't find porn appealing, but I masturbate without it. I have found much more pleasure in that than in actual sexual interaction. I think a lot of men are clueless about how to please women.

Hi DownandLonely. Did you ever try communicating your specific wants and needs with male partners? I think that's essential except in rare cases where two people just automatically click sexually.

Is it okay to ask what you did not like about sex?

Possible negative outcomes. There are many things that can go wrong. Plus you have to trust the other person to some extent. Experience has shown me that it is not smart to trust others.

I'm a huge porn addict. I still love physical sex and always will, but I have a huge collection of porn. I don't see anything really wrong with it. Unless it's causing you trouble in other areas. I trade it with other collectors, etc. This may sound kind of strange, but it's like art.
