I'm doing my best to remain and uphold abstinence due to my addiction to really unhealthy sexual behaviors it's challenging but definitely rewarding I'm wondering if anyone on here has advice or is in a similar situation in life.
Thanks for this!

Hello Amfatl: There's nothing I can offer with regard to your concern. However I noticed this is your first post here on PC. Welcome to Psych Central. Here's a link to an article, from Psych Central's archives, that talks a bit about what sex addiction is & provides links to additional articles on the subject:

What Is Sexual Addiction?

I hope you find PC to be of benefit.

Hi @Amfatl and welcome!

They say the first step to recovering from an addiction is admitting you have one. So you have made the first step. Have you tried any sort of support group (it would probably virtual now) for sex addiction or addiction in general? I find depression support groups very helpful.
