I am on a four day weekend, and it started out very romantic and erotic.

I've read many articles, and if I can explain it well...they've talked about loving yourself and even dating yourself as a single person by treating yourself to something romantic. It boosts self-confidence, makes you feel sexy and happy to be who you are and capable of being independent and confident even without being in a relationship.

So, every so often I take myself on dates and do very romantic things for myself, and it does release a lot of built up stress and makes me feel terrific about my body.

Last night, I went to a sex shop in town (I can't believe we have one here!) and I bought a beautiful black lace garter belt and a matching halter dress, then bought a bottle of champagne and watched Rocky Horror while strutting around the house in lingerie and eating decadent chocolate. I looked stunning and in the pictures I took of myself, you can see I lost so much weight...that was another reason why I bought the lingerie--as a treat to losing 45 lbs.

So I woke up this morning a few minutes ago, and I thought, why not make the whole weekend a romantic weekend? I'm not sure what that all entails, but I want to feel so relaxed and sexy this weekend.

That sounds awesome! You are brave for going into a sex shop. I have never dared to do that. I buy stuff online though. My brother was sharing his Amazon account, so I had to open my own to buy stuff without other people seeing it.

In California there was this amazing sex shop--the biggest I've ever seen--they had fluffy stuff and an amazing assortment of clothes and corsets in the front--and in the back they had a restricted section where all the BDSM and kinky stuff was. I always had to drag my friends there--they were such prudes and they hated going, but I loved going there.

This new one here is small and basic, but they have the essentials and it's decently fun to look through.

I'm not into BDSM. Pretty boring I guess, lol.

Actually, I'm usually ok talking about it, but something about the idea of personally going to a sex shop to buy stuff unnerves me.

I was at the bra store Maidenform for the longest time. I got a sizing and I'm a 38C. I got the sexiest lacy leopard print bra with minimal wiring and it was a perfect fit and very comfortable.... 25% off. The ladies were so nice. The lady who helped me most told me it was the best starter bra for someone who was used to wearing sports bras.

She also helped me find two shaping corsets that were 60% off each originally $45! Then I bought a 6 pack of underwear that is specifically gentle and cooling on the skin 100% cotton briefs. They weren't expensive at all.

For all that: a bra, two corsets and a 6 pack of underwear only $85! They let me back into the fitting room to put it all on. I look amazing. The corset slims my waist and stomach completely and makes my boobs look bigger! 😁

I'm feeling like one hot tamale! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🔥🔥🔥

The romantic weekend continues...

Last night was so amazing.

I put on the "Girl's Night" playlist on Spotify, then I used my holographic, real crystal-infused face mask, then scrubbed my feet with pumpkin exfoliater, washed it out in the hot shower, then rubbed the Gingham Love body exfoliater all over my entire body....I came out and felt so soft and smooth, then put on my kertain hair mask for about twenty minutes, washed that out, then put on my Gingham Love body lotion.

OOOOOoooooOOOOOooooOOOO!!!!! It was pure utter relaxtion and the ultimate pampering session, I was a happy noodle.

I find a lot of beauty treatments painful and unnecessary, lol. But I admit that I do like pedicures.

A bikini wax though? Something I've never been brave enough to try!

I tried it...ended up crying and making them stop, and they felt so bad they didn't charge me...Never again!

This has been a fun, relaxing, romantic, and action packed weekend, and I still have one more day! I have four days off this week. Today I went on a four and a half hour walk with my wagon. I bought a bunch of movies at the video store including two movies for Dad for Father's Day, and at Rite Aid I found another movie with Meryl Streep--Mom's favorite actress--for an upcoming girl's night. The only plan was to pick up my meds at Rite Aid and go to the Dollar Store, but it ended up being a big 4 1/2 hour adventure. Boy was I exhausted by the end of it!

When I got back, I donated an instrument to Goodwill when the only person in town who could buy an instrument said I'd be better off selling it online--not my thing, and it really doesn't mean enough to me to make the effort for a bit of a profit--so I just got rid of it by donating it to Goodwill. Then I went to BiMart and bought a fancy, heavy duty flashlight for my Dad for Father's Day...he complimented me on the flashlight I have and seemed really in love with it, so I got the exact same one for him that I have. I know he'll be so pleased with it--I absolutely love mine, and he's obsessed with flashlights, batteries, backpacks, survival gear...he'll be most pleased with his new flashlight! It's a Luxpro tactical flashlight. It is super duper bright and can shine from a very long distance. It's heavy, too, so also good for protection.

I know, it's way early for Mother's Day and Father's Day--but the inspiration is now and the money might not be there by then...And now I don't have to worry about what to buy!

So now for the past few hours I've been absentmindedly vegging and floating around the house--dancing to music, smoking, playing on the computer while listening to music, smoking, sorted out my movie collection, smoking, back to playing on the computer while listening to Tom Petty...vegging out. And now I can, and do it fully and uninterrupted and not obligated to do any particular task or in any order...just floating around daydreaming and doing what I want the way I want to...then smoke, hahahaha. Shhhhhh I haven't had hardly any cigarettes, and I haven't just "done nothing" my whole weekend, I deserve sometime to be a noodle.

Good for you for doing such a long walk. I don't think I'd have the stamina for that. Sounds like you had a really fun weekend.

I was going to do both north and south end of town, but walking back I was like, nooooo way. But my BFF called and inspired me to get ice cream, so I got a Reese's/cookie dough Blizzard at DQ. It totally revived me and so delicious.

I put corned beef in the crock pot a few minutes ago...it'll be ready by 7. As far as I know, it'll be a "stay at home in my pajamas" day. I promised my grandma I'd watch Pretty Woman, so at the very least I'll watch that movie sometime today. There's also a few projects around the house--I got really nice boxes from work that I'll wrap up in the excess fabric from my curtains...and there's just little things to put away, nothing strenuous.

So we'll see what today brings, and I'm hoping it's as magical as my whole weekend has been.

I like the idea of a romantic weekend. I might try out a romantic date with myself at some point. Maybe I'll go to the arcade 🤔

That sounds like fun. A date you wish you could go on--and you can do exactly what you want, since your "date" is willing. Cool.
