So... I've always felt weird about this. And the truth is, even among online weirdos I don't know anyone else who feels the same way. I've never been able to find someone in a similar situation to me, but it might be that I'm not looking in the right place.

But, ever since I was a kid - about 11 or 12, the only scenarios I've found sexually exciting are
Possible trigger:

Note, this doesn't involve real people or fantasies about real people. Honestly, I have no interest in having sex with real people at all - actually, I guess I find the idea really off putting mostly.

The way I feel about pretty much any other scenario is neutral/bored. I'm not someone who grew up watching a lot of porn or anything either. When it comes to 'normal' sex or depictions of it, nothing about it interests me and never has. It's not like my interests changed over time, it's just that it's been that way as long as I can remember.

Is something wrong with me? Has anyone known or read anything similar to this?

I'm in my upper 20s now.

I don't know... Honestly, I just don't think I have much interest in pursuing sexual relationships. I admit, part of it is I kind of feel like I don't fully trust myself to advocate for my own boundaries in a healthy way if I did (I feel like I'd let myself be pushed into things I'm uncomfortable with) - but I also just don't tend to find people all that attractive in general. I'd say my libido is pretty low and I'd describe myself as ace, more or less, but with a kink/one interest. So I'm not sure it's that worthwhile of an avenue to pursue.

I think my concern is more that I've never seen anyone else who seems to have a similar issue, and it bothers me. I do a lot of self analysis, and on this subject I just feel like... I don't get it. I can't be the only person in the world like this can I? But it seems that way. I can't find anyone else who is similar or an explanation for it.

Of course, not finding anything attractive is not that big a surprise. But only having one persistent thing I can find compelling in sexual art is weird, for me.

You do sound as you would describe yourself as ace.

I just googled "asexual people" and there is a lot of information, including Wikipedia, YouTube and the Trevor Project.

But I guess you are looking for someone who's an ace with the same kink as you... That's why I thought of the BD SM world... although often to experience your kink you'd have to give something back and that sounds like it would be a violation to you. So you have to be careful.

There ought to be more people in the world with the same kind of kink, given the number of people there are on the planet.

Maybe keep looking??

I know someone who is asexual, but I sense it would be a violation for me to ask him about it, so I won't.

Hopefully, you will be able to connect with someone who shares your kink.
