*I* didn't say anything about not caring whether I had an orgasm... but it doesn't turn me on any more to watch my male partner get off with another woman than it does for him to get me off directly. The man's participation is not the "variable" in this kind of arrangement. Seems to me that if a woman is looking to spice up her sex life, it needs to be for HER and what SHE can get out of it, not to merely make someone else's fantasy come true.

In fact, I'm guessing that if someone's wife doesn't have much endurance with her partner alone, then she wouldn't see the point in being pressured to spend even MORE time and energy introducing a third person to the mix, if all she'd be doing is allowing her partner an additional outlet.

That being said, if a woman's desire is to watch her partner with another woman, then sure, a threesome with an emphasis on the man's "skills" would come into play. I don't know too many women who would be into that, though. I think those women would be quite the exception to the rule, but hey what do I know? I suppose another poll with that question would clear up the issue for Tim.

Boy do i stir up a lot of trouble LOL. I am with Lenny, it all depends on the individual. I probably did not express myself well. The "skills" thing simply represents my desire to give pleasure to others, I am most excited by the way others respond to my actions. If my partner is not enjoying everything I do, then I am not satisfied either.

The endurance and recovery thing is partially just freak genetics and partially a deeply seated resentment of critism and failure. I have very low SE when it comes to dating, marriage and relationships. So when when I was younger I focused on performance. I wanted to be the most knowledgeable and technically gifted lover anyone could be with.

So now it has all backfired on me, there an admission, one can go too far with anything, even if it is a good thing. And now I am left with this unfulfilled near obsession.

I hope you guys can forgive me for having this aspect to my being. I agree with everyone's various points to each his or her own.

Thanks for understanding and accepting my weirdness

Love to you all

TJ

I am actually suprised at the amount of people who have read this post. The poll results are rather interesting too. I did not have the foresight to break this down demographically, too bad for me LOL

I personally never have, but know people who do so and are comfortable with it. In general, they were people in open, friendly, and sexual relationships with all parties involved, prior to grouping into a threesome. They tell me that it is rarely enjoyable when it is simply a case of two people interested in one person, or when a third person is added onto an existing relationship. At least that is their feelings.

Just to clarify, if I found myself in such a situation I would prefer the women to by bi-there are moments in the encounter where I would like to play spectator and watch and learn from them.
