Egh, I can't stand it. I've been living next to this couple for a few years now and never heard a thing. Then all of a sudden I hear EVERYTHING! The bed.....voices, head board on wall. Either they rearranged their room or their rekindling their love...still, it's driving me batty though.
My husband says some people just ignore it, some people listen and think it's arousing, and some people are totally grossed out. I guess I'm the type that gets disturbed by the whole dang thing. It's been bothering me to the point where I think about it every time I'm in my bedroom. Makes me wonder.....could they have heard us????? Oh jeez............. I'm seriously considering ear plugs...but that won't stop them from shaking my whole dang wall! |

We temporarily lived in an apartment that faced a courtyard. Every night around 2am, the "Screamer" would get going - she sounded like a bad porn star. The first one or two episodes, we could not stop laughing - we thought it was absolutely hilarious. After that, it got seriously annoying... to the point that we moved out. Who the hell wants to hear that every night? It's really inconsiderate to neighbors, especially considering there could be little kids living nearby.
Sorry you have to deal with that - I have no good advice, other than maybe knocking on their door the next day and diplomatically informing them that you can hear their events in more detail than they might realize. __________________ thatsallicantypewithonehand |

or you could, as soon as they start... engage in a little "playacting" with your hubby.. might be hard to get away with with the children around
I say sit right next to the wall and make the LOUDEST noises you can right back at them. And say as LOUDLY as possible "OH HONEY, IT REALLY TURNS ME ON TO HEAR THE NEIGHBORS MOANING" or something to that effect. Bang on the wall repetatively, and wait to see if they stop and listen. Maybe that will get the point across.. this chilli sort of looks like hes tryin to get his freak on, i just noticed o_o by the way, this post is in jest, i dont ACTUALLY reccomend you do this. But it would be amusing. |

Rainbowzz....hahahaha, that's funny. I was thinking maybe we should move our bed along the same wall and jump on it, just so they realize how loud it is. Sometimes it gets so loud that I can hear it downstairs too....everywhere accept for the bathrooms.
If they moved their bed it wouldn't be as bad, like before. Luckily they don't exaggerate or scream....just the springs and headboard..bang squeak bang squeak......annoying. I might have to do that Rainbowzz...hahaha |

I live with three other college guys. That's one of the reasons I'm moving into my own apartment!
I don't mind sex, I just don't particularly want to hear other people doing it---every night. Moreover he parties too much and is loud/obnoxious--another motivator for me to move! __________________ Chris The great blessing of mankind are within us and within our reach; but we shut our eyes, and like people in the dark, we fall foul upon the very thing we search for, without finding it. I don't think I'm your neighbor, but my BF and I can get very loud - esp. me- so *I* am a "noisy neighbor". Once, we even heard the neighbor's in the next house in the summer say "The neighbors are having sex again!" I just had to laugh. But we have no walls that are directly next to anybody else, either....

I would invest in a good set of Bose Noise Cancelation head phones. Failing that I might invite them to come over and let me watch LOL
