My psychologist said to me, "so you are looking for friendship and getting to know a guy. Let me understand this correctly he said to me, "you are looking for support not sex and I am referring to me your therapist?"

I think he is trying to get an understanding of your need. I wouldn't think it a come on. just my opinion though.

I too think he was probably just trying to get an understanding of what you were saying - wanting in life...
Could you expand more on what was being talked about prior to this question? |

Regardless of what he was trying to say, it is always up to you to establish the boundaries in therapy so that you can feel comfortable.
If there is anything about this T that unsettles you, go find another one. They're a dime a dozen. __________________ The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The End The Beginning |

I clarified the situation with him and we are on a very comfortable basis in our patient/doctor relationship. He was just seeking confirmation at the time. |

You are definitely right! They are a dime a dozen! But he is a very good therapist. He was just seeking clarification.
