I am really confused about my sexuality. I always have crushes on older woman who are unavailable, have authority figure over me. I have no sexual feeling toward them. Just want to hug them, cuddle with them, and to kiss them. I am not sure if i am looking for a mother figure in those woman or am i romantically attracting to them. I am so confused.

I admire strong, powerful women, but I don't see it as a sexual thing. They represent something exciting and stimulating. I would enjoy being in their company, but mainly just to bathe in their glow.

Depending on the past relationship you had with your mother, or the lack of relationship, you could very well be looking for a mother figure deep down inside.... and IMO there is nothing wrong with this if it fulfills an emotional void in you that is a normal void.

BTW... most men / women fall in love with someone that subconsciously reminds them of their parents (or primary care giver as a child).

Teary, I feel the same way but I am a guy so not about the sexuality thing. And from what I have decided about me is what the others have said....I am looking for that mother figure that loves you, cuddles with you....shows you affection and makes you feel that you are wanted. I think that this is a normal feeling and would not worry about it that much. You are not alone on this feeling, talk to T about it and I am sure they will say same thing. Take care of yourself. There is nothing wrong with what you are feeling or saying. I do wonder what kind of background you have though, and why you feel the need to be nurtured by them. It does seem like you want approval more than anything else - maybe even more than a sexual relationship with these older women.
Since you said you aren't really sexual towards them, I can't help but think you want someone to love you for who you are and that older women might be more accepting of this than younger.
Just don't let them take advantage of your vulnerability. Some people act like they care so they can get something from you. Make it clear you just want compatibility, not anything more.
