I am 55 and my boyfriend is 63. Do men stop enjoying sex when they age? We used to have great sex and after he had neck surgery he quit wanting sex. With me or anyone. I thought it was me but he said no and I know he has no other woman cause he is with me all the time. His surgery was almost 8 months ago. Is this normal or do I have something to worry about?

Some men do lose sexual desire as they age. I don't know if neck surgery could have any such effect; I wouldn't think so. Has he told you why he feels he lacks interest? If it's physical, there may be treatment. Even psychological, there could be treatment.

While the surgery helped his neck it seems to have affected him mentally (and maybe emotionally) where his male libido is concerned... be supportive and he will open up about the why's when the time is right - for him

wanna have some fun? Like shopping and being pampered? Ever seduced anyone? Maybe you could get some sexy unmentionables at victoria's secret, get your hair done. Maybe have a spa day...try a slow surprise seduction...if that does not work, maybe viagra is in order...maybe if he is on any new meds, they could affect his libdo. And by way of support...8 months is a long time, you must be climbing the walls!
