I had this daydream a while ago, but i'm still trying to figure out what it means. I initially thought that it meant I was holding onto something I shouldn't, but what?

7/7/08
A girl was pushed into a trash can and the lid placed on top. After a short while she rose out radiantly beautiful and smiling in a sparkling gown (like in enchanted, when the princess rose up from the manhole) An enormous hand reached out to take her hand, however she looked back into the trash can and saw a sad girl who was gray and was really a part of her that was left behind. The beautiful girl reached her hand out to the sad girl because it broke her heart to leave the girl behind who felt unwanted and worthless. So the three traveled along, the enormous hand, the beautiful girl, and the sad gray girl. After a ways, they came to a thick dark forest. The beautiful girl’s hand slipped from the enormous hand and she looked back toward the sad gray girl and instead she saw a demon who attacked her.

I added this part when I was feeling suicidal.

The beautiful girl expected the enormous hand would come to rescue her, but it didn’t. She looked for the face that belonged to the hand, but couldn’t see it. There was no one at all who could save her from herself…

I'm no longer suicidal, but I have completely lost my faith since then. I feel lost and am trying to find the right way to go if there is one.
