Hi everyone,
Haven't ever posted here before, but have been having a lot of trouble sleeping the past 3 nights, and tonight/morning is the worst it's been. I have tried listening to relaxing music, meditation, and then there is my meds. I am on 300mg of Trazadone. It makes me tired but can't fall asleep. Maybe there is too much on my mind, but I try and let it all go when I go to sleep.
I was wondering, maybe I should refill a prescription of seroqul. I am not on seroqul anymore, but still have refills. I don't know really know what to do. I refilled a prescription of valium today and took some, but doesn't make me sleepy at all. I thought I would give it a try, but no go.
I don't know what to do next. I have to be up soon to baby-sit, and then i have a busy day after that, actually a very busy week. I just can't catch up on sleep.
Thanks for listening,
Jen

Maybe it wouldn't hurt to check back in with your doctor....

I'm with possum on checking with your doctor. I would not suggest filling a prescription you are no longer taking without speaking to your doctor first.

Another suggestion I can offer is to try to go to bed and get up at about the same time every day. Also pay attention to how much caffeine you are taking in during the day. Sometimes caffeine can be found in things like medications where you wouldn't expect it to be. I've heard to avoid caffeine for as many as 8 hours before going to bed.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
