I dunno if this was caused by my Seroquel or not (I've been on it for 6mos. or so) but last night, I was having TERRIBLE, scary dreams! You know the kind where you wake up gasping, and it takes a bit to sink in that it wasn't real..?
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar caused by med's or what... I've had odd, dreams on it before, very life like, and some even sexual.. but last night, I was truly and honestly scared out of my tree! And it was everytime I went back to sleep, it would just pick up where it left off from! I was up 4 times, went out for a smoke, and tried to forget about it before I went back to sleep.. Anyways.. I'm just curious if it's happend to anyone else like that.. |

I've had that happen to me...in fact, quite a few times. I'm not currently on any meds and it still happens on occasion. I just hate that feeling that it's real even when you've been awake for a while. Kind of haunting.

i've had nitemares for many years. sometimes i think its my meds... bt after changing meds it seems linked to my stress and symptoms more than meds. somtimes its a new "horror movie" sometimes its a repeating theme of.....the same things and places but with tiny changes. and then during the day i get caught in a daze and realize a piece of dream just popped up out of nowhere and i have to look around. i took seroquel for 2 years. and just about all the other depression meds. now i'm on meds for bipolar. and , yeah, i have to make an effort to realize it wasn't real.
