I am not sure if I understand my dreams. In most of my dreams I am always standing off to the side of everything. I try to get involved but I just can't do it. In my dream I am thinking of the best way of doing things, but I just keep standing there and no one seems to even notice me standing there. My nightmares are a different thing. I won't get into that right now!
Is it just too obvious? The only thing I can think of is that I feel inadaquit in life.
What do you guys think?

I think MSF has a point. Maybe you want to get involved with others but are not letting yourself reach out due to fears of rejection. When you do not reach out, people who are already involved with one another [except in churches, let me say that] don't tend to reach out to you because their needs are already met with one another. So you come to feel invisible. Have been there and felt that. If you have anxieties about reaching out to be included in a group, reach out to just one other, who seems to be alone for the moment. He/she can then introduce you to others. Also, with two of you, you are more likely to reach out to the group. Social anxiety/fears of rejection or inadequacy are a female dog! However, they are just that. The inadequacies you may see in yourself are not typically seen by others. The way others see us has less to do with how we are than with how we make them feel about themselves. billieJ
