I had a dream the other night as I flew from one place to the next over the ocean amongst the cliffs. A friend was telling me he had seen a shark bigger than 30 feet in length and we watched from the cliffs into the dark ocean below. A figure emerged out of a cave under water that resembled an eel, but had the head of a cobra snake. All of a sudden I found myself in a perspective view of watching my friend dive in the water as I followed behind. He was trying to capture this snake, which from the cliffs looked over 50 feet long, but in the water only looked to be no bigger than 3 feet. As he struggled to grasp the snake as if he knew what he was doing. It ends up though, I started noticing that it looked as if the snake was smarter than he was, as he grabbed it by the head behind the neck. I could hear myself saying, Be careful, because I think that snake is smarter than you think. I was right and it ends up biting him on the hand and I see my friend dying. Right away I see myself now in person where I was in perspective, in which I thought I was only an observer. But now I was really there under the water and the snake saw me once I realized this because I think I felt endangered. I did what I could to try and fend off the snake, but as I grabbed it behind the head, it had a slinky ability to extend its head up and back down to my hand. It ended up biting me on the thumb and I felt this numbing sensation, a sensation that put me limp and I just felt like I let go as if I was dying and then I woke up. Crazy. Sometimes I win in my dreams and other times I don't. It just goes to show, fight for as long as you can!

The interesting thing about this is, what does the serpent represent in my life that I am struggling to fight with and I am allowing to have victory over me. Because in a dream, you always have the ability to win!

Well I'm no expert but it could either mean you are struggling with sexuality or being that your friend was involved in that dream, someone is talking behind your back and it will change you somehow. Snakes are also the symbol for transition and renewal. But subconsiesly (sp?) you are definatly struggling with something life changing and you can't let it go. Even if it is a small thing.
