I worked out until 10:30am yesterday morning and was not able to get one wink of sleep until it was 7:30am this morning.
Its happened to me very often. Over an hour of vigorous exercise no matter how early makes it impossible for me to sleep at all!
What is wrong with me?

Wow that must be tough. Are you drinking caffeine products?

Well, there's a reason, even though you don't know it yet.
I doubt it's anything "wrong" with you though.

You probably need to keep track of everything you do on a normal day, and then also when you work out.

My first guess would be that you are doing something(s) after working out that is causing this inability to sleep.

It might be you become dehydrated and drink to satiated that...but aren't drinking just water. Or it might even be you ARE drinking just water but too much and you are up and down all night going.

Maybe you are eating different foods that wind up your metabolism?
It would be nice for a while to have a metabolism that stays wound for more than 12 hours maybe ... but if that's your issue, you have to workout earlier, and not do so much.
Are you keeping track of your target heart rate and not exceeding it?
Have you had a physical this year to rule out issues?

Do you workout and then do other activity you normally don't, like eat out with friends or such? Maybe it's something there.

Sounds like a mystery ... hope you get it squared away, You need (we all need) good sleep.
