I had a horrifying dream last night that I could get rid of my chewing gum. It sounds silly, but the more I tried, the more it filled my mouth up and stuck to my teeth, making it impossible to talk. At one point, I actually felt like the gum was overtaking my tongue. Even when I was able to remove it, it just kept coming back.
I looked up this dream online and got this response: These dreams often involve the dreamers' inability to get rid of chewing gum. The more they attempt to remove it from their mouths the larger and more unmanageable it becomes. In the dream they become frustrated and panicky because the harder they try to pull, the larger the mass becomes in their mouths. This dream suggests that the dreamer may experience frustration in daily life due to a large scale or standing insolvable problem that leaves them feeling powerless. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you figure out what the frustration or problem was? |
