puppies, platipi and bears, oh my!

So, I had a dream last night here I adopted my pup (who was a boy in my dream even though she's a girl) and her mother who looked exactly like her except she was all white and had longer fur.

Anyways, some time had passed and they both behave the way my pup does now... which means they are troublemakers. Anyways, I was feeling really lonely and bought a German shepherd puppy. Of course almost immediately afterward I was all "what was I thinking? This is going to be a big dog, that sheds, and gives dad allergies!" and I felt really bad for having to return her... I didn't expect a refund nor care because I just wanted the puppy to have a home (it was already like...6 months old and kind of big) but then I came home later and surprise! It was there! Apparently dad found out and was okay with it so he brought the pappy back.

Now this puppy... listened to me, was very smart and learned fast, and always told me when it had to go outside (so no accidents!) it just had the problem of leash pulling. In any case I took the new puppy over to mom's and it apparently scratched up a wall pretty bad (why?... I don't know) and after that my step-dad went on this huge rant about how I'm not responsible enough to be a pet-owner and all that stuff. Which was upsetting... I just closed the room of my door and the puppy lied by my feet and I pet her while I was getting all angry while he kept on going about how I act like a kid when I'm 16-17 years old (and in my head I remarked he didn't even know I was 19)

Somehow during the course of the dream this pup's color changed from German shepherd colors to red/white husky colors... but I didn't notice it in the dream.

I thought about showing them all wrong by training this pup to be a really good at going tricks. (you know, that that dog dancing and Frisbee tricks?)

I can't really remember the rest of the dream but it focused a lot about how it was like a sign the end of the world was coming because there were so many animals around. Bears and platipi (which are apparently native here and aggressive) were found in families in our yard on a regular basis, there were birds and squirrels everywhere where mom lived, and all of the foliage was so thick and tangled you couldn't even move through it. This entire dream seemed to take place at either sunset or night- night was normal but sunset gave everything a red tint. There was also a downed power line in our yard that I was afraid of because I didn't know if it was live or not. And during the leash pulling the new pup managed to wrap itself around a bunch of wires like that. But I untangled her okay even though it was nerve wracking.

PS: new puppy never got a name, and pumpkin and her mom had different names that I kept forgetting. I think they were Coco and Sammy. By the end of the dream it's like the new pup was considered my dog, and the other 2 were considered dad's dogs.

and yeah, that was my dream.
