has anyone else had a problem with too much sleep? I've been sleeping 12-16 hours a day for the past 2 months almost. I don't sleep at regular times of the day, but that's normal for me; I've always been a night person. I just can't seem to stay awake for more than 12 hours without feeling exhausted like I'm going to fall asleep sitting up. also I've been on celexa for quite a while, and topamax for a bit.

Yes, I have had that experience too. I would sleep all night, have breakfast, sleep until noon, nap all afternoon. Kind of like a baby. It was severe depression and at the same time an avoidance mechanism, albeit an unconscious one.
Topamax can be a bit sedating, but not to that extent. Your pdoc should be able to help you adjust your meds.
Good luck and let us know how you are doing.
