Hey everyone. Just had a sleep study done last night. Yippee. Anyway found out Im not getting any REM then I later found out it caused by my antidepressants. So now what do I stay forever exhausted or be depressed? Would have been nice of my P who prescribed me these would have told me this when I was telling him about my sleeping problem. Instead here try another sleeping pill. What a waste of time and money to. Even the nueroligist apparently didnt know about the effects. So how do I get some ZZZ?

Take the results back to your pdoc. The result you want is an antidepressant that allows for REM sleep. This was not a waste of time. There must be a way to have both. You may have helped others as well.
Thanks for this!

Yes, there are things to try; here, see if this gives you and your pdoc some ideas?

The more I look into this the angrier I get. It really sucks to have to be "smarter" and to connect the dots on things like this faster than the "professional" I've given my brain to for help!! ARGH! I want to scream and throw things that break, at her head. Good thing my appointment isn't till the 17th, maybe I'll cool down some before then. *MAYBE*
