I kept having nightmares that would wake me up screaming and reaching out to an unknown place above me. I would be sweating madly regardless of the room temperature. My doctor prescribed prazosin for this, and I don't seem to dream at all anymore, but that's better than having the nightmares.

oh my! i used to have AWFUL nightmares. a lot of the time about a person i called "the dark man". they were so frightening i couldn't even talk about them. but at that time i was having debilitating depression as a part of my bipolar disorder and after an intense hospitalization, found out that my anti-depressant had quit working. after being put on celexa, the nightmares stopped! what a blessing that was.
but last night i had a doozy. laughing about it now, but not when i woke up in a cold sweat from it...my mom wanted me to start an IV in a COW in the house!!! and i couldn't find the right needles, only sewing needles. i chalked that one up to "just weird". but ohhh i hated those others, am so glad they are gone. i wish you well with yours bobby, and hope they don't ever come back! ![]() |
