took Abilify in the form of orally disintegrating tablets last year because my family found out I was spitting out the regular tablets I was ordered to take by my doctor. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the orally disintegrating tablets? I don't quite remember, but I think the orally disintegrating tablets negatively affects my memory and my ability to recall my dreams. I never knew what it was like to have a complaint about not being able to recall dreams until after I took Abilify in orally disintegrating form, but I dream almost every night while sleeping, and I haven't been able to even remember the subject of the dream. I use to dream and remember the the subject with ease, and even the details, but now I am unable to remember my dreams and it is scary. I'm scared my mind is slowly declining in intelligence and that the orally disintegrating tablets have done some permanent damage. I took them for about two months and went back on the regular tablets afterwards. It's been a year and I've experienced a whole year of bad memory and no dream recall. I'm truly frightened by the difference of functionality of my brain. Is there anything that can help with improving my mental and cognitive performance? I'm concern about my brain functions. I want to be independent and capable. I want to have strong cognitive functions. What can I do? Does anyone know anything about what I'm talking about?

Im no expert, but i would guess that you are in a deeper sleep when you dont remember your dreams. My dreaming goes off and on too. I also think it has something to do with medication. It never made me think that i had some permanent damage. I am also on Abilify (regular pill form) and I have been remembering dreams more than usual.

Hello, peaceweb602. Have you talked to your treatment team about your concerns?
