This was a really horrible and graphic dream.

Please note trigger warning.........

The dream is somewhat hazy now but started in a communal bathroom type situation (I was at boarding school and the bathroom resembled that). I remember hearing a gun shot. I raced to the bath and my Mom was lying in the bath, there was blood everywhere. I remember that part clearly. Blood all over. I collapsed and my husband caught me. I was then injected with something. I then remember my Mother opening her eyes and me screaming that she wasn't dead.

Then I remember reading about her death in the newspaper. There was a picture of her lying dead on the front page of the newspaper (it wasn't actually her - but you know how dreams work). The eyes in the picture moved and looked at me and I again screamed out she wasn't dead.

I am not sure where this dream came from as though my mother is experiencing burn out and other issues, I do not believe she will kill herself. She made a very uncharacteristic comment the other day that she wishes she didn't have to wake up in the mornings. Perhaps this dream was related to that. My instinct is that she is depressed. Even if mildly so. She will never get help for it though. I will just have to ride the storm with her.

What a horrible dream though. I have been unable to shake some of the images off since.

(((Sabrina))) - I'm sorry you had this horrifying dream. They're especially scary when its a loved one. I don't pretend to know about analyzing dreams but some dreams are clearer than others. This is probably from your subconscious worries about your mother and the general stress you're in at this stage in your life. Too bad you didn't wake up before all the scary scenes played out. I hope you won't have this dream again.

I know what you are feeling because I had dreams like yours many times(about my mother). It comes from our mind what we see think feel when we are not asleep.that we see in our dreams because we sleep but our mind never.however it is horrible also when you wake up you need to make yourself to forget it fastly.and remember it is only a dream.it will never be what you see.As I told I have seen many terrible dreams but none of them came true.so believe that it is only the result of your daily thoughts.sometimes I also tell that I don't wanna wake up in the mornings as your mother but believe me it doesn't mean we are going to end our lives.we are just very tired.and your mother will be ok.everything will be ok.if she wants she will control everything.everybody can change her/his life.people just need strength.have a nice day and do not believe in dreams.I know you think that dreams of some people come true but it doesn't mean that yours will.faith is everything.
Thanks for this!
