I dont have trouble sleeping, well i can sleep for hours but only during the day, i will stay up all night and go to bed when the rest of the houshold begins to wake up, its not that i choose to not sleep at night, its a case of i prefer to sleep throughtout the day, i barely see my family who live in the same house due to this im not sure if its down to depression or paranoia which family keep telling me i have?. the only time people actually see me is if i stay up all night and keep my self awake until the nexter night but this just causes me to feel weak, ill and not eat properly, ive tried so many times to get into a sleeping pattern/routine but it never lasts.

Most doctors would recommend better sleep hygiene and trying to reset your clock. However, if you have tried--really tried--and not succeeded then it might be depression. Or, do you do things at night that you feel others will not allow during the day? Ex: maybe you like to spend your time writing songs, but during the day people distract you or belittle you or bug you in some way. Since you say you prefer it, I suspect it is a social or emotional thing. Take care, and keep writing! This is a good place.
