I've been taking Trileptal for bipolar disorder and I noticed it causes bad/weird/scary dreams. I was wondering if anyone knows a remedy for it. It was suggested to me that I try a benzo or a sleep aid (ex-ambien) might help but I don't want to be on any addictive meds.

http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders...-adults?page=2 I'd mention it to your doctor, see if you could try less of the med, see if it worked as well but eliminated that side effect?
