That is a very strange dream, but it's pretty cool.
I'm not sure what it means. Have you tried to make any associations with your real life? The best person to interpret your dream is you. |

Do you recognise the seahorse? When you got it, how did you feel? I love this dream. Something about this is very warm, to me.

Your post reminded me of one of my last dreams, where I also saw a sea horse (though I don't quite remember the rest of the dream). I tried to look up what it means. Apparently sea horses reflect one's current emotions. The best interpretation of the sea horse element (for me) was that it symbolizes the need for security and/or the need to offer someone else comfort.
Not sure if it has anything to do with your emotions, but I thought I would mention it. |

I'm going to make a Jungian jump here :P
The sea horse may be a personification of your anima self - the part of your psyche that is both more primal and more of the opposite gender of what you are in the waking world. Based on the fact that this is a sea horse, I'd make the guess that it relates to a more serene part of yourself (relating to the fact that seahorses are seen as non-violent, and the fact they live in water). That your sea horse went to like in the exotic locale with your mother, it could reflect that your serene side connects with some underlying part of your mother that you're reading into without actually knowing (hence the exotic location).
