Does anyone else have night terrors? I have been diagnosed with a few things that may or may not be comorbid - OCD, ADHD, IED.

I don't but my wife and daughter do. My wife is bipolar. We don't know about my daughter as shes only 4.

OCD is probably comorbid, as it's also comorbid with bipolar disorder. IED is a sub-category of bipolar disorder on Axis 1 as an impulse control disorder. That would DEFINATELY be comorbid.

Hope that helps. ^_^

That's just nightmares. Night terrors are chronic and don't come and go.

Have any of you guys ever tried Prazosin? It's a blood pressure medication but is used to suppress night terrors. I have PTSD and it's worked wonders. I'm able to sleep and have non-terrifying dreams and I don't wake up ready to fight anymore.

Actually, MandaMay did use it with a trauma she had when we were first living together. She says it did okay for sleep and nightmares, but it gave her the jitters and restless leg syndrome from it. Bottom line, it's good if you don't have side effect issues.
