Okay, for some reason I've had dreams of being raped. I've never been raped, honestly. I was nearly raped by a high school classmate, but I bit his arm, drew blood, and escaped that. However, I have been having dreams before that and consistently after that of being raped by old men.

I must mention, the most disturbing one came around a month or so ago. In the dream, I was kidnapped by a tribe of people all in masks. They dressed me in a garment made of vines and took me to a tent out in the wilderness. There, they were having a ceremony for a child. Then they forced this child to rape me. He was not willing to do so, but was forced to. And in the dream and afterwards, I came out of the dream feeling like it was my fault, like I had raped him.

hm interesting...perhaps your near rape experience triggered something in you that is making you unconsciously worry about being raped. And because you aren't actively thinking it, or are suppressing it, it might be showing up in your dreams. They say dreams are a way for our bodies to not only heal and re-fuel after long days, but to help us solve problems that we have been facing for awhile. So maybe it might not be literal rape...but have you been going through a struggle of sorts lately, that is leaving you feeling helpless? That could be it...anyways, good luck and I hope this helps...

Thanks, and I have been going through a struggle for years with my family and I do feel helpless. I posted another thread about that problem.

Okay, okay. This is getting really twisted. I just had a dream where I raped my mother. :'( it was awful and disgusting.

To me it seems like you aren't so much scared of being raped, as much as you are of being alone. I'm no expert but I think you are having some issues with feeling the need of companionship. None of these dreams have been where you are alone. All of them seem to extend your hand in being intimate although forced, with someone else. You may be feeling neglected or lost in some way whether physically or emotionally I don't know. I hope this helped in any way.

That could be true. My best friend lives thousands of miles away. And actually, he's my only true friend. Though we talk on the phone all the time, we barely get to see each other.
