A few months ago I had a dream I will never forget. I was watching TV when everything began to shake. The TV screen turned into a green fuzz, as did everything else around me. A bright light appeared. Suddenly I was in a distant galaxy. It was triangular. There were hundreds of space crafts floating around. A laser beam shot out from the top of the triangle. The colors and stars were so vivid.

I traveled through space via a wormhole. Sounds crazy but I am convinced it was real.

I love remember my dreams with such clarity, I have dreamed, before, of levitating, I could only view it as a positive message of escaping the bounds of my physical , earthly, life. I've never dreamed of space travel, traveling in a spaceship, but I do often dream of traveling in a car. Sometimes the car is traveling out of control, backwards, without breaks on a steep windy road. Fortunately, that isn't often the case. I believe my car imagery represents my life vehicle and it momentum and direction. Passengers are important to the current life trip I'm on. I believe dream symbols can be universal but are always individual first and foremost, so I only offer suggestions.

Oh I have those levitation dreams, where I'm being pulled out of bed, through the ceiling and towards the sky. I always feel panicky, like I want to stop flying but I can't. Would you consider these dreams to be out of body experiences?

Maybe someday you'll float to my alien galaxy.

I've never had a levitation dream that was scary for me. I can remember one I had in 2007, with great emotional clarity. In the dream someone asked me, amazedly, how I was able to levitate, and I tried to explain that the way to do it was by not trying, without effort, (like the insurance commercial) I remember relating the dream to my mother that day (I was quite uncomfortably stuck in her home at that time) She gave one of her typical replies, something to the effect that I have always been weird. But, it bother me in the least, I was grateful that I could feel so free and confident in my place in the universe. Telling you about it now recalls to my mind wisdom of eastern mystics. I have ironically, found meditation practices difficult. Also, as to the question of out of body experiences, I have not been able to achieve them since my adolescence, probably because I ws less burdened by the material world then. But my brother related a frightening out of body experience he had in his mid 20s in which he encountered a malevolent entity. He never intentionally attempted to escape his body again.
