Hey, for the longest time in pretty much all my dreams I can fly/float/hover....I usually fly around in buildings, sometimes ontop of houses [usually takes place at night and is a very quiet atmosphere] and through neighborhoods at night. It's not frightening at all but very peaceful...

Also, a lot of my dreams take place in a sorta gothic/vintage atmosphere and usually at night...though sometimes in a city at night. I don't know what to make of this because I pretty much always get dreams like this...

And sometimes I will watch people from below and am a vampire like creature...

Any ideas?

Sounds like a lot of fun. I love flying dreams. I used to have them when I was younger, but now that I am older, I don't have them any more. Enjoy the dreams while you are still young.

I always associate flying with freedom. I guess you are longing for a peaceful state of mind?

I've had a few dreams where I could fly. I can say that they were pretty awesome and rather fun. Although in one I seemed to struggle to get up there and other times I would simply do a high jump and float down kinda slow to safety. Kinda like low gravity I guess. One I've had where strange beasts were jumping trying to grab my feet making it hard to float away as I tried to kick them. Sometimes I wonder what dreams really mean like that especially when you can remember them so clearly... almost like it was really happening. I have been convinced my dreams were real many times, until you wake up of course.
