For the last week I've been dreaming of broken teeth. It's very unnerving and realistic. So much in fact I check my mouth first thing in the morning.
No one is breaking my teeth, it's when I put food in my mouth and upon first chew my teeth or one particular tooth shatters and I'm left extracting the fragments piece by piece by spitting them into my hand. What I'm dining so strange is the realistic feeling of the dreams. Is this happening from my meds? |

I have also a dream like this, one of the tooth broke or was extracted, in reality, I have a tooth which we can say not in line with the others, somehow it needs braces to be fixed and that tooth is the one I always dreamed broken. I think it was all of frustration or I don't know. I hope it doesn't mean anything.

When you look at teeth for what the Lord designed them to do, the message becomes quite clear. Teeth are designed to help you chew, process and digest food, The teeth thus represent something you possess that lets you process and digest/incorporate new food for thought that comes your way. That “something” is your intelligence. [Note how the more intelligence – which includes knowledge and information - a person has the more easily they can grasp new ideas.]
When your teeth are breaking it indicates that the intelligence, knowledge or information you are using is not very sound or reliable. Your knowledge or information does not meet your requirements when dealing with new ideas you could obtain satisfaction from. (teeth break when eating your food) You may need to take this situation in hand – do something about it. (spitting the shattered teeth pieces into your hand) On a physical level of interpretation the teeth will represent friends and acquaintances from whom you acquire the knowledge or info you are using. Shattering teeth can indicate friendships that are deteriorating. Spitting the fragments into your hand can imply that where the friendships are deteriorating, you may have a hand in this deterioration – that you may have something to do with this state of the friendships. It also suggests that you may need to take this situation in hand – do something about it. Note that when a tooth breaks we usually have it repaired. This dream has nothing to do with any meds you are taking. The True Self is merely showing you a situation that you are not able to see in physical reality. Perhaps you have not really taken note of the state of some of your friendships. Also broken teeth have nothing to do with growing up and becoming more mature. Note how in reality a baby loses its unbroken “baby teeth” (its immature knowledge) and it is actually replaced with new adult teeth reflecting having acquired more intelligence, knowledge and info. |

I have similar dreams but my teeth aren't shattering, they're falling out. It's at random times too..not even when I'm eating. I dream about it so often I don't acknowledge the dreams anymore..

I wonder if dreaming about teeth falling out or shattering means that we feel something that is supposed to be a constant in our lives is falling apart? I have had this dream as well.

In Italian folklore, dreaming of losing a tooth ie a tooth falling out predicts someone will die. I usually find I'm grinding my teeth when I have this dream. Remember like the Broadway play title, "Lips together, teeth apart". Which is about grinding, not kissing!
