I have been awake for literally over 30 hours. Went to school from 7:30 this morning and got home at 8PM. Literally...now I should be sleeping by now knocked out from working and going to school full time but thanks to my insomnia- I cant sleep.
I am diagnosed with a list of things- Bipolar II, Depression, GED, Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia, Borderline Personality Disorder, and I know Im missing something I cant think of it.
I am on Elavil, Neurontin, Paxil, Klonopin,...Any ideas to help. Im looking for ideas without more meds. I take 16 pills a day yes 16!!! And that is not including birth control, vitamins etc. Good Lord somebody please help me!
Hugs from:
Sabrina

Sorry I can't give you any easy or magic ways to make yourself go to sleep.
I can tell you from personal experience that a person can survive a lot longer than 30 hours without sleep though. Try not to obsess over it. There really is no quick and easy cure for insomnia that I know of.

The more you get frustrated with it, the worse it gets. I know it seems like an impossible task, but try not to think about it. Try reading something that you only find marginally interesting. Do you have a white noise machine? Those can help sometimes. Hope you were able to get some sleep.

Tell those Doctors who are prescribing all those Meds! They do affect sleep.
