I had the unfortunate privilege to watch the Halloween movies as a kid many times. The reason I wanted to was because I wasn't allowed to. Anyway, wish I never had, but the main character seems to have become a symbol for my shadow side.

For a long time, every once in a while, I have dreams about the character Michael Myers from these movies. He's big, strong, wears a white mask, and pretty much can't be killed, only slowed. (My own interpretations will be in parenthesis throughout)

Usually he's just trying to kill me, or stares me down with creepiness. The last time I had this type of dream, couple months ago, I squirted cannabis-infused liquid all over him to sedate him. That was right after I quit smoking.

Last night (3/22/13), in this dream I am a detached observer. I'm in an underground facility (DING Unconscious) It's pretty high tech, all metallic, all the lights are on. I felt a bit of surprise at the level of technology, actually. I see Michael myers the white masked man inside the large main room, and inside a small control room separated by glass is an old/midldle aged man with mustache/beard and slightly receding hairline and slightly graying hair. Next to him is his son, a boy with long blonde hair (similar looking in build to the young michael myers from the more recent movie).

The old man is talking to the boy, explaining that the masked man wants him to create zombie children for him (vaguely because the masked man can't reproduce for himself). I (as the observer) see an image of a machine that would be finishing the creation of two short hideous two legged creatures.

The boy asks his father, "Why can't I heal him?"

To which he replies, "Because he's ---------" (I can't remember what was said, but upon reflecting after I awoke, I think it had something to do with the masked man being "into the dark arts" or the root of him being hidden.)

Then the masked man is inside the control room with them. As the observer I was scared for them, but they did not appear afraid.

Thinking as the observer, I attributed their lack of fear of the masked man to the fact that he needs them, and therefore he can't kill them.

We have some folks here who interpret dreams, but, alas, I am not one of them. However, I would think that seeing a movie with the same theme a number of times would get it rather implanted into your unconscious.
