This dream was a nightmare and I woke up terrified!
Me and another girl( I even remember what she looked like: she had blonde hair with a pixie cut, really really short hair that didn't even reach her shoulders, and had dark blue eyes). We were sent into a water slide to investigate toxic spiders that could have invaded the slide. We climbed to the top and went inside, armed with only a flashlight as it was pitch black. The slide was huge and had net-like holes on the side at which we found a venomous baby spider in a small web. She looked at me and said that we had found what we were looking for. All of a sudden, we hear water and turn around (we were on our hands and knees) and were surrounded by gushing water. Soon enough we were swept away..and along with the spider. I told her that we were probably covered in the little critters. After we got out, we spotted 2 men, one tall man and one shorter man. The taller one holds up a gun and points it at my friend. We look at each other, both terrified. I turn around and another guy comes out from behind a car that was parked up on its tailgate. He comes out with his hands up and when he does, my friend pulls out a gun and shoots all 3 men. She turns around, and thinking she is going to shoot me, I run off down the street.
In no time, I am running down my street, except I can't run and instead am jumping incredibly high to get away from her. Soon enough I spot my neighbor who says that if I ever need anything to just ask him. I run around the corner at the end of my street and do not see her anymore. Out of nowhere, she hops a fence and starts to come after me. I turn and realize I can't run anymore ( I couldn't in the first place) so I hop a fence. I get to another fence and come to find that I don't have the strength to jump it as my arms gave out on me. I woke up just as she was closing in on me. What does this dream mean?

Much hopping here, maybe because Easter was last Sunday. Venomous Spiders no threat. Look at who you are trying to shoot down? You can't seem to run from that part of yourself.

I'm guessing that that girl represented me in some way. And the me that is running away is who I'm trying to shoot down, which is the scared and cowardly part of myself? I'm just guessing.

I don't know if you are scared and cowardly. I do think you are a little to hard on yourself. The dream does mirror that.
