Help me - nothing works: sleepy tea, melatonia (?), milk, Tylenol, reading, computer,

I take my meds at 8:30. Read til 10:30 - 11

Very tired.

Close eyes, 15 minutes later wake up - wide awake - can't go back to sleep.

It's 4:32am now.

Physc doctor wanted me to take sleeping pills - if I do that I can't wake up in the morning, or the reverse I also can't fall asleep.

This here is crazy. I get up have a cup decaf coffee, but usually tea with caffeine and fall asleep in my chair.

Now don't that get ya!

I'm aging quickly here!!!

Sure isn't good for the wrinkles!

I know exactly what you're going through!

Maybe not every night, but consder taking sleeping meds maybe every third or fourth night. Sometimes being awake that much like that you can get a lot of stuff done... if your head's not going a mile a minute and you can focus on something. That's always my problem.

After a while your mind doesn't realize how tired your body actually is and really DOES need a good night's sleep, even though it doesn't think it does. (If that makes sense.) I came out of a period like this about a month and a half ago. Every third night I would take Nyquil to force my body to sleep at LEAST for 6 hours. It did wonders and it kept me rested enough to keep any bad psychosis away.

Edit: I apologize if this post makes no sense... I don't think I'm well at the moment.

You sure are full of life, like all those little animated icons in your post. No wonder you are all jittery. Try some exercise during the day time hours to burn off some of that pent up energy. Also do some thing creative such as drawing or painting or dancing. Your creative self is just bursting at the seems. Avoid the computer before going to sleep.

Wrinkles: You should be using Retin-A nightly for the rest of your life to prevent wrinkles. That is regardless of the sleep issues and just as a must.

Sleepy tea, melatonin, milk are very mild soporifics, so for somebody with bipolar - a disorder that disrupts sleep more than almost anything else - they are usually insufficient.

Tylenol - do not know about that. I do know that taking Tylenol for headaches can result in MORE "rebound" headaches and mixing Tylenol with alcohol is bad for you. Do not know about Tylenol for sleep.

Reading works well for many people, but probably not for you.

Computer is considered bad and counter-inducive of sleep, so not sure why you listed it... unless you listen to some relaxation mp3's, perhaps?

You did not list sun and exercise during the day - have you tried those?

If those coupled with relaxation fail, I think you need a strong sleep medicine.
