I haven't had a dream in a while...or one I can remember.
I remember me and my family were driving to my dads friends house. As we pulled up to the house, there were tents in the trees. There were at least 4 of them and they were bright orange in color. The dream ended as the family stepped out of the house. The second one was about me and my friend. Me and her were walking down the hallway and talking, when my (former) crush walks past us. He was listening to music on his iPod and was humming quite loudly. I tried not to laugh and turned to look at my friend. When I did, she was now listening to her music. The dream ended with me looking at her in confusion. What does this dream mean??? |

Hi Pegasister!
It's hard for me to get a sense of the dream from something so short, but let's focus on the orange tents in the dreams. What associations do you have to your Dad's friend? What is he/she like? What interactions have you had with him/her? Do you have any associations to tents? Have you gone camping before? Do you like it? Any associations to the color orange, either as part of tents or anywhere? Did you have a sense whether there were people in the tents? Do you have any sense who was using these tents? -Mike |

I don't have any associations with his friend, and yes I have gone camping before and I enjoy it a lot! I haven't gone camping since last year for the Fourth of July. I also don't have any associations with my dads friends family. I don't think that there were people in the tents.

I am camping in the middle of Kibab National Forest this week in a Green Tent. I too had many dreams while sleeping in my tent! I think the Tents in your dream ties in with your family, and your family within. You are singing along to your own internal music.

You mentioned at least 4 tents. I don't know if it was exactly 4, but Jungians consider the number four to be symbolic of wholeness and integration. It is found in many cultures and religions as representing wholeness (for instance, a mandala has four sides).
You've had dreams before about living above the ground, and you had a dream about climbing trees. Although Thunder Bow sees a positive association to the tents, I keep wondering if this represents an attempt in your psyche to live "off the ground" (ungrounded) as a way of coping with scary feelings. |

That is true. These dreams have a reoccurring theme of the number of 4 and having to do with climbing and trees. I haven't had any scary thoughts. The only things I fear are bugs and loneliness...and I havent had a dream of those yet.
