Hey all, I've never posted here, but I came across an article about my bipolar that might help. I just don't know enough about it.

Have any of you heard/tried dark therapy?

Thanks

Jeff

I've heard of dark therapy. That's where you spend 16 hours a day in total darkness, right? That's what one experiment did, anyway. It completely stopped the bipolar swings. Maybe there is a more practical version.

There's a bipolar sub-forum elsewhere on this site that might be a better place to ask this.

If dark therapy as is defined, it's basically mild sensory deprivation therapy. In this case, though, instead of limiting sight, sound, and feel you're only removing sight...completely.
