Hi,
I had strange dreams. The first one was week ago. I dreamed about my mom's ant who has passed away. She was in the kitchen washing the dishes. It looks like it was a party! Then couple of nights ago, I had another strange dream. There was a party and my grand mother (my mom's mom) was there. she was so happy and she was pointing at another lady and telling my alive ant's name, but I found out she's not the one who is currently alive. she's my dead ant. so, I told her, you are making mistake. then I found out all of them went out to a beach and had a good time. I saw their pictures. I asked them, why they didn't envite me? what do you think? what these dreams are all about? I wasn't thinking about them at all...why did I dream them? thanks Marjan |

I used to dream a lot about my father just after he had died. I would see him in my dream as if it were a normal thing, doing all the same things he did in life, like he was still alive though I felt that there was something odd. I think most people if not all dream about people that had died and were close to. When I dream about my father I don't want to wake up. Maybe sub-consciously they are on your mind or represent something that is missing and appearing in your dreams. You don't have to be thinking of them that day or even week for them to come into your dreams. For the most part all dreams are things that are lying in your sub-conscious locked away when you are awake and then free to manifest themselves as you sleep. Everybody always dreams while asleep, if you wake up thinking you didn't dream it is only because you forgot it. I personally like all my dreams, even nightmares but that's for other reasons I won't get into

I used to dream about my grandma all the time before she passed away. Also, I live in the house that she died in, but my mind replays that last day always in dreams. After her death, I used to get messages from her it seemed. The last dream I had of her was a few weeks and I haven't dreamed about her in months then suddenly she appeared on my boyfriend and I's bed and she wanted to talk to me. I ended up waking up before we talked; she used to give me advice when I was dating my ex. She always told, I had the "gift" because I would dream that someone would die and they died. What's actually scary is a friend of the family I knew was out at the football game and I got to thinking he's going to die then he died a week later of a heart attack. That was more of a spaced off dream thing, it was weird. I have some weird dreams sometimes. Grandma is the main dead person I dream about and she always told me things that even my mom didn't know.

the same thing happens to me atleast twice in a week, I used to see my grandma (10 years before passed away) she loves me more. sometimes even we dont think about the passedaway people but in our brain wires somewhere there's a internal relation with them. So they are soming in our dreams I think its nots a serious matter. Somebody rememeber that dreams but somebody forget. Its not a big issue. Dont be emotional and take it easily. And dont think why it happens like this in the dream, dream is a dream it has right to come in disorder. |

Thanks everybody for answering me.....
Well....I got my answer today to my dreams....Not a happy ending! My uncel passed away just couple of days ago....so, that means my grandma and my ants were waiting for him! He is his son and her brother! My sister called me today to tell me the news, and then I told him I knew something is happening because of my dream....when I had that dream I called my parents next day and they said everybody is okay.... I don't have dream of dead people at all....This was kinda my frist time! |

I believe sometimes dreaming about things or people in the past means we have an issue we're trying to deal with from that "period" of time. I lived in an apartment for 13 years back in the 1970's and early 1980's, when I was first in therapy with T. Then, when I started therapy with her again in 1996 (to 2005; I moved from the apartment in 1985 and terminated therapy with her the first time in 1987) I started dreaming about that apartment a couple times a month! I was probably dealing with issues I'd avoided/not dealt with when I was in therapy the first time and lived there. The dreams of that apartment ended around 2002 (after my stepmother died and other issues had been resolved in therapy).

Hi, I had a simular dream months ago with 2 ladies that I knew very well, that had also past. in my dream they were in my living room talking to each other and I went over to say hi and if everything was good with them. They said to me everything is great I wouldn't miss your party. I woke and thought wow, but they both her dead already? One of them was the ex girlfriend of my cousin, the other was his grand mother on his fathers side. I knew he was struggling with his own issues from the 2 recent losses. I told him that in the dream they looked very good and happy, and that they were okay and talking to each other and laughing, and yes they knew each other while they were alive as well.
So I think the dream for you was, remember the happy times, don't be so down and stress out. maybe you are thinking too much about other things, bills, work, someone else. maybe the dream was for someone else, think about it, maybe it would nice to share that dream with other family members and it might bring some kind of smile to their heart. thanks Marjan[/quote] |

I dream about people I know who have died. I like to think that they were thinking about me and stopped in to say hello. It works for me.
