I've been having a lot of dreams lately about moving back to California, or at least visiting it.

shortandcute, mine isn't a dream but more like a time shift that happens when I'm awake, never asleep. It's suddenly the early 1970s, in my early twenties, living with my mom and dad back in Miami. I can smell it, feel it, hear them, see me as I looked. And then sadness overtakes me, because they're long gone, my bipolar illness, which started after my dad died 24 years ago, is getting worse, I have so many regrets, including my marriage and I know I can't go back in time like in Back To The Future or Dr. Who.
