I have been having troubled sleep for almost a year now with a few recurring dreams... one is where I keep getting lost in a place which feels familiar... other being me waking up to a bright light in my eyes and when I try to cover my eyes I see them covered in blood.. any interpretation for these dreams? also I keep waking up every 2 hours throughout the night... what seems to be the problem?

I have the dream about getting lost in a place that's familiar too. I feel confused and melancholy when that happens. My interpretation is that I haven't found what I needed. Just don't know what it is yet!

About waking up to a bright light and what comes next, maybe you're afraid of sleeping for some reason? The waking up every 2 hours could be a symptom. I'm just exploring what came to mind.

Waking up so often, though, is something I would get medical attention for. The mind is stronger and emotions more stable with the right amount of sleep.

You are feeling lost within yourself. Bright illumination keeps you from seeing beyound yourself.

If you are in therapy, the therapy process can do that.
