Does anyone else go thru spells of being completely and utterly exhausted? I've been having these spells for about 6 years now and it's debilitating. When I'm in this rut, I can barely get out of bed and only have the energy to eat then fall back asleep. I know binging makes it worse. Does anyone have any tips on how to combat this? I feel like I'm missing out on life sleeping so much and feeling mentally fuzzy!

Yes. In the past I did. It was adrenal fatigue and also thyroid was not functioning well aka hypothyroidism. Easily corrected with bio-identical thyroid prescription. Monitored carefully by the doctor. You might want to rule out physical reasons. Such as lack of good sleep due to apnea. Or maybe to ask your doctor to check adrenals and thyroid function. Your doctor may even have other ideas to check out re: the exhaustion.

Of course there also is depression. That makes me not have a whole let of energy. But I am no longer glued to the bed due to adrenal and thyroid function. Is there any way you can talk with your doctor about it?
