I had a dream fairly recently that freaked me out so much I literally sat straight up in my bed gasping. It starts with me swimming in a very large, rectangular, indoor pool. There are other people splashing and laughing and talking, but I'm just loving every minute of swimming. I keep swimming, and gradually the people begin to disappear until I realize that I'm the only person in the pool now. Suddenly, the lights turn completely off, and I begin hearing this horrific loud grinding noise. The bottom of the pool has vanished, and in its place is a huge meat grinder. There is blood spurting out everywhere. The pool water is being sucked into the grinder, and so am I. I struggle to swim against the flow of water, but it becomes too much for me.

That's when I wake up.

In real life you feel like you are being sucked into the grinder. Identify it, and make your escape.
